Unum - Short Term Disability

UNUM ADMINISTRATES OUR SHORT TERM DISABILITY

Please contact HR if:

  • If you are sick more than 5 days
  • If you plan to have surgery and be out more than 5 days
  • If you plan to have a baby

A doctor's note will be required for any absences past 5 days, except maternity leave.

HR will work with Unum for short term disability insurance so that you can continue to get paid.

Please let HR know 2 months in advance (if possible) of any surgeries or deliveries.
