MAP Procedures
What's a MAP you ask?
A MAP is a Ministry Administrative Partner. They are the person in each ministry department that partners with City Impact Staff and supports the CI Leadership Team members by administratively facilitating the City Impact team, including the posting of coordinated events and opportunities through formal channels.
This section contains procedures to provide MAPs with guidance to accomplish their administrative functions as they relate to City Impact.
How to decide if you should create an "Opportunity" or an "Event"
Events
We suggest choosing events if it's a one day commitment or if it is apart of a series.
Examples: A potluck dinner, a picnic, or monthly family dinner
Opportunity
We suggest choosing opportunity if it's a muti-day commitment, connect group, or a volunteer opportunity.
Examples: Meal train, Pickleball group, serving at NFCC, or book drive.
